An American icon of the '60's and '70's - The "Drive-In" Diner with curb service - carhops on roller skates - charcoal grilled sandwiches, fries and a shake.  Wayne's is a creative "adaptive reuse" of a small, existing 12-sided building which had served as a retail building on a larger than normal lot.  We "raised-the-roof" with a cupola, topped the cupola with a tower sign and clad the exterior walls with patterned tile and stucco.  The interior we wanted to create a true feel for the "good 'ole days" by adding many retro furnishings including the all important jukebox.
