The Pollworth Pavilion is a combined 4,600 SF concession stand, public restrooms, and baseball equipment storage facility, which includes a covered outdoor space for picnics and gatherings.  This facility is conveniently situated between two of the community baseball fields at Fireman's Park.  Aesthetically, the building design blends in with, and compliments, the qualities of the residential neighborhood nearby, and at the same time it has qualities of a public building, such as low maintenance, durability, and vandal-resistance.  The canopy over the outdoor dining space is a focal point, and is constructed of exposed heavy timber beams, capped with tongue and groove cedar decking.  Craftsman Style elements are evident via the sloped roof lines, gables with decorative brackets, tapered column details, and other subtle detailing.  Playyyyy balllll!!!
