The Owners of SPI Lighting, Inc. wanted to convert an area (of approximately 4,000 SF) that was at that time being used as an assembly, into an Office Space inspiring creative thought.  A "Clean" and efficient look was desired with a break away from the "Bullpen" concept.  It was decided to allow some of the exposed structure show for the ceiling and break-up the monotony with "floating" masses of suspended Gypsum Drywall ceilings which, in turn, allowed the Owner to showcase their line of indirect lighting.

The Owner wanted to convert an area of approximately 3,500 SF that was currently being used for assembly, into a highly finished Training Room.  This room would be host to their own staff and outside Lighting Designers.  Of course, the space was to be used as a showcase for their lighting product line.  Therefore, the setting was designed to display and compliment their lighting.  The resulting space is a good example of what happens when the Owner and the Architect can work together to achieve their common goal.
