While the restaurant portion never closed, the Hotel portion was only operational up until the early 1980's.  Haag Muller, Inc. was contracted by the new owners to help in remodeling and updating the upper two floors so as to convert the existing hotel rooms into luxury Bed & Breakfast Suites.  This resulted in 27 existing hotel rooms being converted to 10 new B & B suites with luxury Bathrooms, Fireplaces and Jacuzzis.
