The Cedarburg Plan Commission places a very high value on Cedarburg's heritage and historic buildings.  With this in mind, they had concerns regarding McDonald "Golden Arches" trademark and the visibility of the arches.  Special detailing included in the brick quoining, wood bracketing, custom colored aluminum window frames, and even a very subtle precast McDonald's logo over the arched window created the effect that both the Owner and the Plan Commission were looking for.
