This retirement home is
located on a sloping site facing one of the more pristine
flowages of Northeastern Wisconsin. As such, all living areas,
kitchen, dining, and bedrooms have a view of the flowage. The
home’s exterior materials consist of natural cedar and stone
appropriate to a structure situated in a wilderness area.
Interior spaces are embellished with granite, bamboo and cork
flooring with most of the flooring finished in tile or slate so
as to capitalize on the in-floor heating system. The living
area’s voluminous ceiling is framed with an exposed heavy timber
structure highlighted by a stone 2 story fireplace.
