This is a site feature developed for the Grand Avenue United Methodist Church.  Located near the Church's main entrance, this is a focal point which reuses the iron cross once attached to the building (before the sloped roof was constructed).  The cross symbolically sets on top of a mound framed with flat rocks and intermixed landscaping.  Around the mound and cross is a circular pathway that is bounded by semi-circular benches.  The feature is intended to serve as a focal point, a place of meditation, and also a dedication to both Christ and the parents' of the parishioners funding the project.
