This project is both an interior and exterior alteration to
an existing 100+ year old building in Port Washington's historic downtown.
The exterior alteration extends across the east facade on Franklin Street and
along the south facade on Main Street. A new storefront design is being
introduced utilizing brick piers and a corbelled brick cornice, arch top windows
with divide light transom windows and decorative gooseneck style light
fixtures. New dome style awnings on the second floor windows will have
teardrop fascias to blend with the existing teardrop brick corbelling.
The entire building's exterior will be power-washed and repainted in a new
color scheme. The interior will be home to "Goosey's", a
combination catering business, general store and deli with indoor and outdoor
sidewalk seating.
