A major interior remodeling to the "General's Court" inclusive of finishes,
seating, lighting and landscaping. The
remodeling encompassed the outer court area along with some minor remodeling of
individual dining areas within
specific restaurant
boundaries.
Materials chosen represent colors found in Milwaukee's parks
and historical copper brew kettles. The space
showcases trussed entry porticos, refinished counter fronts, new dining pods
and illuminated and foliated pathways.
On the pub side, a center piece salutes the namesake of the
Airport, General "Billy" Mitchell. Armed forces veterans,
historical buffs and aviation fans will appreciate the real DC-3 wing.
The remodel has increased seating to approximately 160
seats, reduced congestion at the vendors and given it's patrons
a more comfortable, relaxing atmosphere.
