Franciscan Skemp - Holmen Clinic Mayo Health System Design Concept Holmen, WI

A nature inspired space was created for the new Franciscan Skemp - Holmen Regional Clinic.  The use of natural materials and finishes including: slate mosaic tile, wood tones, calming wall finish textures, custom handpainted nature inspired artwork, and sepia toned nature graphics create a sense of calm and warmth.  The floor plan layout along with floor finishes and ceiling elements create soft curvilinear patterns that provide a soft traffic pattern flow through the space.  The lobby has a variety of seating zones including:  TV lounge, kids' activity area, cafe seating, and main waiting area.  The use of soft accent lighting brings a warm residential feel to the Lobby.  Overall, the Clinic is an inviting space that provides a sense of calm as soon as patients and families walk through the main entrance.
