HMS Host is
taking steps to provide dining options beyond traditional fast food for
travelers at General Mitchell International Airport. Utilizing an unused
airline gate, HMI transformed this 2,300 s.f. empty space into this visually
stunning bar and restaurant. Key to the design was the incorporation of
Chili’s most recent design standards. Being the first of its kind to
utilize the new kitchen design and updated décor elements, Corporate members
of Chili’s will be using this location as an example for upcoming new
designs. With the exception of a few Corporate required pendants, HMI put
it’s signature on this project by upgrading virtually all the dining room
lighting to LED. Careful consideration of the lighting color temperature
(CCT) of the specified white LEDs was given when selecting luminaries that
would properly render the dishes served to the patrons.
